Salsa Night: Grupo Greg Ribot

Waterside Plaza's Music Under the Stars summer concert series continues with Salsa Night featuring Grupo Greg Ribot. Grupo Greg Ribot plays original Latin dance music, including Cumbias, Rumba and Bomba and will have you on your feet by the first beat. Bandleader, Greg Ribot has produced three critically acclaimed albums, has toured in Japan and the U.S, and has had his music featured in several film soundtracks. His band includes guitarist Franciso "Pancho" Navarro, who plays all the guitar music in the award-winning film Frida, and percussionist Annette A Aguilar, who has worked with Steve Wonder and The Grateful Dead among others. Come see this star-studded group perform under the stars at 7PM tomorrow (Wednesday, June 27) and join us a half-hour earlier for a FREE salsa dance lesson led by the instructors of Dance Manhattan. No experience or partner is necessary to participate. And as all Waterside Plaza's concert events, this concert is free admission and open to the public!
