FREE Costume and Puppet Workshops!

One of the best Earth Day celebrations for the whole family, the Church Street School for Music and Art is hosting free workshops to create river species puppets and costumes! The costumes will be in the May 21, 2011 Earth Day Parade to celebrate the aquatic life of the Hudson.

The events are hosted from Wednesday, May 2, through Wednesday, May 18, 2011. All are welcome and there are no admission costs. The costume workshops will be held on Wednesdays, 6pm-9pm, with artist Soule Golden. The puppet workshops will be held Saturdays, 12pm-4pm, with artist Lucrecia Novoa.
