Summer is here and it's time for you and your kids to have some fun in the sun--and as many parents would agree, kid summer camps is one of the best ways to make sure a great summer is had by all. If you haven't enrolled your kids in a camp yet, there is still time! There are day camps, educational camps, adventure camps, and more still accepting enrollment!
Anytime Summertime Kids Camp accepts students for full weeks, one week, or even a day at a time. Weekly themes include treasure hunts, zoo trips, and more. See The Little Gym of the Upper West Side for more details! The city also offers great day camps like the Oasis Day Camp Uptown where your active kids can spend their days in adventurous activities in Central Park.
There are also several themed camps like Glee-Glee Francais, a musical-themed camp, and the self-explanatory Space Camp and Super Soccer Stars Camp. See more last-minute camps here: http://newyorkkids.timeout.com/guides-resources/classes-camps/150097/last-minute-camp-ideas

It's definitely not the Hamptons, but taking a day trip out to Coney Island--just a subway ride away!--has long been one of our summer rituals. The beach, the boardwalk, the legendary Cyclone: it's all still here, and it's all still fun.
