Music Under the Stars at Waterside Plaza

Spend a glorious evening under the stars listening to live music. Waterside Plaza features hot local talent in a spacious, relaxed setting. There is plenty of room for dancing, picnics, and socializing. Some seating available. Lawn chairs and blankets are also welcome.
Free Sunset Yoga

Take your Yoga practice outdoors and be inspired by the stunning views and refreshing river breezes. A certified fitness instructor from Waterside Swim & Health Club leads the class. Admission is free and open to the public. Participants are encouraged to bring their own mats and towels.

Jump start your weekend with a night of swimming! It's both healthy and fun! Listen to a live DJ, taking requests, and enjoy plenty of room for laps and relaxation. This party is open to adults ages 18+. Admission is free for Health Club members and $20 for guests.

Waterside Plaza features talented local dance companies and choreographers performing outside on the Plaza. This year performance groups are creating original site-specific work that showcases the unique landscape of Waterside Plaza's outdoor space. Playformers

Playformers is a group of playwrights that, with the help of professional actors, present new works. Cold readings regularly turn into evenings of great theater at this long-standing Waterside event. Everyone is welcome. Free admission and light refreshments.
Electronic Recycling Day at Waterside Plaza

Bring your unwanted TVs, cell phones, PDAs, computers, printers and other household electronic equipment to Waterside Plaza. The Lower East Side Ecology Center will be onsite to collect working and non-working electronics and ensure environmentally safe recycling of all donations. At no cost to you, this is an eqsy way to responsibly recycle electronics you no longer need or want. A list of acceptable items available at www.lesecologycenter.org.
